This cookware is comprised of thick, strong gauge aluminium. This ensures that the pan provides fantastic conductivity when hearing food, so that it is done so evenly. The sides and bottom of the pan heat food up to the desired temperature with no hidden hot spots of food. As the coating is ceramic and nonstick, food will not burn, even when cooking on a high temperature

Price – It is cheap for a 10-piece set. In fact, it would be kind of hard to find another comparable set at this price and rating at the time of writing. The cooking surface is slick and little oil is needed. Hence, clean up is also a breeze.
- Pots And Pans Place

A good choice for many. It has been tested for harmful compounds like PTFE and declared safe to use. It is also highly durable, extremely well reviewed, affordable to all, and pleasing to the eye. It is inexpensive for a 10-piece set. It would be sort of difficult to find another similar set as of this cost.

What experts didn't like

Cannot be used in the microwave.
- Cookware Lab
Size – The size of one of the ceramic fry pans could be bigger. There is little difference between an 8-inch and a 9.5-inch fry pan. Turning the 9.5-inch piece into a 12-inch one would have been more practical. Low heat tolerance – The pieces are oven-safe up to 350°F only. So, if you like to put the pans in the oven on high heat, this set wouldn’t be suitable. Made in China – It could be a problem for some but not for others. People tend to think of cheap China-made products as unsafe and of poor quality. If you have such concerns, then you would need to check out some other sets.
- Pots And Pans Place
You should not attempt to use this cookware set for induction.
- Healthy Ceramic Cookware
It can only withstand temperatures up to 350° Fahrenheit. If you put pans in the oven at a high temperature, then this is not the brand for you. The size could have been a little bigger. The pans are only about 9.5″; 12″ pans would have made a little more sense. Not dishwasher safe. Needs to be handled with care. Can discolor under high temperatures.
- Maria's Menu
It does not work on an induction heater. Not suitable for a dishwasher. Only shipped within the USA. No warranty issued.
- Cookwared
They cannot go into the dishwasher and must be handled with care. Cooking at high heat levels will harm the cooking wares. Use wood or hard plastic utensils with this set.
- Cuisine Study
Low heat tolerance: The pieces can withstand heat up to 350°F only. It is for this reason that this set would not be suitable if you like to put the pans in the oven on high heat.
- Kitchen Aim
Paint and coating may not hold well under high heat. It has been noted that the colours will fade over time. Will not be good for cooking foods like steaks. Not induction ready.

An Overview On Ceramic Nonstick Cookwares

It’s not just the food that we put in our bodies that makes a difference in our health. The tools we use to cook and prepare our food are also extremely important. The FDA performed studies on cookware that was coated with PFAS, or per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances. These studies showed that the chemicals had leached into the water supply in the areas of manufacturing and caused serious health issues. In an attempt to clean up the environment of these hazardous chemicals, avoid using cookware with these chemicals and search for alternatives. One such alternative is ceramic nonstick cookware. Let’s see what makes this cookware better.

Ceramic nonstick pots and pans are essentially metal pans under a coating of silicon. This silicon is composed of sand, thus the name ceramic, and is safe for use in cooking. Another aspect of the ceramic nonstick cookware is that it can handle higher temperatures than traditional nonstick pots and pans. The coating won’t break down until they are over 800 degrees and that is near impossible to reach in everyday cooking. You won’t have to worry about any coating leaching into your food.

Although the FDA has not investigated the manufacturing process of ceramic nonstick cookware, many companies are thorough with their safety standards. When you start the buying process, research the company and investigate its safety standards. If the company is reputable, it’s because their products are excellent and put through rigorous testing. It’s worth the time spent to make sure your cookware is safe.

Ceramic nonstick cookware can be bought either as individual pieces or as a set. If you are just starting out or replacing your Teflon cookware with a safer alternative, you will want a whole set. These are a few of the best ceramic nonstick cookware sets: Cook N Home Nonstick Ceramic Cookware Set, 10-Piece, the Blue Diamond Toxin Free Ceramic Nonstick Cookware, the WearEver Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Set, 15-Piece, and the Gotham Steel Nonstick Ceramic Cookware Set, 13-Piece. Otherwise, if you just want to try out ceramic nonstick cookware, maybe start with just an individual pan until you know you like cooking with them.

Be smart about what you are putting in your body, but also be diligent about your cookware. Turn to ceramic nonstick cookware if you need a nonstick option that is kinder to the environment. Be sure to do your research on the manufacturer and find a set that has all the pieces you’ll need in your kitchen.

The Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Buying Guide

  • High heat will diminish the nonstick characteristics of ceramic cookware, especially when heating an empty pot or pan on a stove.
  • Do not use metal utensils or the ceramic coating will chip off.
  • Do not put ceramic nonstick cookware in the dishwasher as the cleaning chemicals and high heat can compromise the effectiveness of the nonstick coating.
  • Use mild dish soap and warm water to wash.
