What experts liked

In our lab tests, it scored the highest average of both wet and dry lint tests, one of the most desired characteristics according to our testers.
These washcloth-like papers have been certified to be clog-safe and safe for your septic as well.
This paper is the sturdiest of any product we tested. It's also pretty comfortable to use.
Strong, both wet and dry. Consumer testers rated as the softest toilet paper. Absorbs well.
Very good softness.
What makes this unique is that it is designed with a washcloth-like texture that delivers a cleaner touch than flat-textured brands. This allows you to enjoy a confident clean every time you use this toilet paper.
It doesn't fall apart when the going gets tough.
- Today
The extra study structure of the tissue paper offers one of the best values for money in the whole of tissue paper industry. Although the product is strong as far as the structure goes, it does not clog your toilet.
Most important, its sheets held together while dunked, removed, and carried over to the scale. Being able to retain moisture without falling apart is a key job for toilet paper, so that it doesn’t leave wet remnants, and you don’t end up using a toilet-clogging amount for tougher bathroom visits.
Friendly to the environment. Skin friendly texture. Mega economic roll.
Although it’s one of the more expensive brands per roll, tests have shown that you can use four times less paper with this brand than other leading brands, so it actually works out as very good value.

What experts didn't like

Some Amazon reviewers note that the strength of paper results in less paper being used, equaling savings in the long run. Our lint and absorption tests corroborate this.
Low weight per roll (meaning less TP for your money). Dissolves slowly. That said, this thick TP could prove a problem if you have finicky plumbing; it took quite a while to break down when we tested it for dissolvability.
Poor disintegration.
A few reviewers said that the rolls are so big they can’t fit the holder. Pricier than other brands.
The total time this tissue paper takes to dissolve in water is a little more as compared to most of the other brands that are available in town. The toilet or the tissue paper is too thin and leads to a lot of wastage when the paper gets wet.
Our panelists didn’t think it cleaned as well,
Highly absorbent washcloth touch.

Overview

One of the most important essentials you’ll need for your home is toilet paper. It may seem like a simple purchase, but there are actually a few things you want to consider before deciding which toilet paper is best for you and your family.

First, you’ll want to look for any certifications or awards that indicate the brand has been recognized as a quality product. For example, does the toilet paper packaging state that the paper has been stamped with the Good Housekeeping seal of approval?

Next, check to see if the toilet paper is safe for use with septic systems. You don’t want to use paper that won’t dissolve easily in water, as this will clog up your pipes. Cottonelle lists their product as clog and septic-safe. You’ll find some other models also come with Roto-Rooter approval.

If you or anyone in your home has sensitive skin, you’ll also need to look for toilet paper that is soft and non-irritating. Unscented brands are a good choice, as they don’t contain any chemicals, such as fragrances, that may cause a reaction in some people.

Strength is another characteristic you’ll want to see in a good toilet paper. You don’t want paper that easily breaks apart when dry, or you’ll end up using twice as much of it just to get clean. Some brands are actually 2-ply, and because they’re so strong, you’ll actually use four times less of their toilet paper to do the same job as regular toilet paper.

Of course, you’ll also want toilet paper that is absorbent. Models that are three times thicker, are also three times more absorbent than other leading national bath tissues.

Finally, if caring for the environment is important to you, you’ll want to choose a toilet paper that is eco-friendly. Some brands make their sheets from pulp that comes from sustainably managed forests and controlled sources. They also are proud Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification holders. Others use 100% recycled fiber content and have FSC and Eco Logo certifications.
