From The Manufacturer

ANTIOXIDANT BENEFITS: Formulated with 10 percent l-ascorbic acid, the purest form of vitamin C, to help brighten the complexion and promote more even skin tone. Protective packaging helps prevent oxidation and maintain product performance. HYDRATING SERUM: Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to help improve skin tone, texture, and hydration for a healthy looking, radiant complexion. LIGHTWEIGHT TEXTURE: This serum for face has a gel texture with a non-greasy feel. If layering with an eye cream or facial moisturizer, apply CeraVe Vitamin C Serum in a thin layer and allow to fully absorb into skin before applying additional products. 3 ESSENTIAL CERAMIDES: Ceramides make up 50% of the lipids in the skin barrier. As you age, studies show that ceramide levels decrease. CeraVe products are formulated with 3 essential ceramides (1,3,6-II) to help restore and maintain the skin barrier. DERMATOLOGIST RECOMMENDED: This formula is fragrance free, paraben-free, non-comedogenic, and allergy tested. CeraVe Skincare is developed with dermatologists and has products suitable for dry skin, sensitive skin, oily skin, acne-prone, and more.

Affordable. Non-comedogenic. Fragrance- and phthalate-free.
- Byrdie
The biggest positive of using this face serum is the fact that it delivers real results—fast! After just the first application, I could see just how hydrating the serum was, and after using it for a week or so, I had a gorgeous, dewy complexion to my skin.
- Face Serum
A serum that uses 100% Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid for more radiant and even skin tone.
- BestReviews
A serum packed with ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid for not only anti-aging benefits but calming, nourishing, and protecting powers too.

What experts didn't like

Oxidizes/turns orange quickly.
- Good Housekeeping
Can oxidize and leave orange streaks.
- Byrdie
Overall, we don’t recommend CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum, primarily because of the use of denatured alcohol in this product.
- The Derm Review
The packaging itself leads to a lot of product waste, and I sadly saw an increase in blackheads on my nose and inner cheeks.
- Face Serum
Product comes out of the tube too quickly and it tends to leak.
