Offers a fast, easy set up and no frills design. Relatively compact.
The set includes sixteen 5-pound plates, four 2.5-pound plates and four 1.25-pound plates. Each dumbbell handle weighs 5 pounds, and there are also two screw-on collars to secure the dumbbells.
Convenient as its handles are comfortable and offer a firm grip.
The plates and handle on these dumbbells are cast iron, so they will not break or wear down with use over time.
Chrome bars resist corrosion and rust, and have textured center for strong grip.
Threaded ends and handle provide a secure fit so that you don’t have to worry about the weights falling off and injuring you.

The paint is prone to chipping --scrubbing the dumbbells before use often resolves this problem.
The main problem I have with the dumbbells is that they’re a little bulky. The dumbbell is already somewhat larger than your standard dumbbell, and balancing the larger size takes a bit of getting used to. .
