Foot rollers are manual. A few owners complained the water became too hot.
On/off button fails after sometimes.
There is no digital readout unfortunately, and there’s also no precise control either.
Its size makes it heavy and less portable
The on/off secure can without much of a stretch relax and would in the end breakdown.
The rollers aren’t automatic, and you have to move feet yourself over them.
There is no digital equipment installed to read out and that’s really disappointing.
Unfortunately, you can’t use it with bath salts or oils as the air holes may clog and the performance of the unit may be affected.
Although this is highest priced foot bath massager
Despite being a good machine overall, the Brookstone does have a few downsides. First off, the massage rollers do not really add that much to the experience.
The unit is bigger and bulkier than most.
Addition of liquid soaps and gel is not allowed as this can clog the jets. It only uses clean water.
Its size also has a downside as the device is a bit heavier and more difficult to carry.
The water plug for the draining messes up from time to time, very annoying.
Does not have bath salt.
The only problem some customers have with this foot bath is that bath oils or salts cannot be used; otherwise, the jets get clogged and ruined.
One of the main complaints about this machine has been about inability to add any bath salts, oils or herbs
The only drawback for this product is that the use of salts, soaps, and creams are recommended against by the manufacturers so the clogging of the jets can be avoided.
Do not use with bath salts, Epsom salts, vinegar, or oils—they will clog the workings of the machine.
It It does not work with bath salts.

The water heated quickly, and (impressively) reached just shy of 50°C (around 120°F). Maintaining this temperature was a doddle; if you like your foot spa hot (or at least the option to have it hot!) you’ll be very impressed with this.
For me, the Aqua-Jet Foot Spa and Foot Bath is slightly expensive at $99.99.
