This foot bath is so easy to use. When you use it, you'll find that water heats up rapidly, to the perfect foot soak temperature, which is one hundred and fifteen degrees. The built-in heater will keep the water warm and inviting throughout your foot soak.
- Nail Products
The Brookstone foot spa heats up water nicely all the way up to 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 10 Machines
I was pleased with its appearance. The Aquajet has a professional look at it. The Aqua-jet is not flashy with fancy lights and vibrant colors that others have which quite honestly are of no use. I like the fact it is as professional as possible.
- Body Gearable
A removable pumice stone that is an additional preferred standpoint while you are taking the back rub.
- Best Health N Care
The Heated Aqua-Jet Foot Spa is a good option for those who are suffering from chronic pain and tight muscles. You need to take care of your feet to help prevent numerous ailments that could lead to serious health problems down the line.
- Feet Remedies
There’s a removable pumice stone that lets you exfoliate your feet as you soak. There are two pre-programmed settings. And the real positive to this foot spa: it does a very good job at a reasonable price.
- Groom and Style
Designed specifically to serve the purpose of removing feet stress, the massager comes with the two powerful hydro jets that increase the blood circulation and target the tired.

As for the massage itself, simply set the water pressure to your liking and then let the two adjustable water jets circulate the warm water throughout the roomy tub, relaxing your poor tired feet, while increasing circulation and relieving tight or aching muscles.

There are only 2 jets but they do an amazing job of circulating the water around the basin. They also create a lot of bubbles in the process. The water circulation in this device is top-of-the-line when compared to other foot spas, and is one of the key selling points.

The luxury unit comes with adjustable water jets and adjustable heating features. The best part is, the unit has been designed to do all the work for you.
- Massage Gear Guru
With this Aqua-Jet Foot Spa and Foot bath you can be sure to get a soothing massage to all the right places of your feet. It is designed to produce powerful jets that bring about that soothing effect.
- Relax Those Feet
Two of its main selling points are its bigger size and its heat function. It effectively heats water and keeps it hot
- The Calm Panda
Brookstone Aqua-Jet Foot Spa heats up the water and brings it up to about 45⁰C (115⁰F) just in a few minutes. Obviously, it maintains the heat and you don’t have to go through the hassle of changing the water.
- Cushy Spa
This foot massager offers higher comfort to the user and it is designed to compact to increase all the performance and efficiency of the users.
- Massager Land
The rotating jets feel amazing (if not a little ticklish for some), and are really fun to use. If the water gets too hot, you can simply turn the foot bath off for a couple of minutes.

It is one of the most affordable foot spa machines you can get.
- Relaxish
Another good thing about this model is that it can heat the water up to 115 degrees. There is no need to keep on adding hot water as it can maintain the temperature.

The massaging jets are powerful enough to blast the tension right out of your feet, whilst at the other end of the spectrum, when everything is turned down, the spa provides a peaceful, tranquil experience — exactly what a foot spa should be able to do.
- Blissful Relaxation
The two rolling nodes of the foot spa work well in terms of rubbing the muscles of your entire feet. It’s also able to live up to its promise of maintaining the water temperature to your desired heat level. The water jets are quite strong which should really feel good on your tired feet.
- Foot Therapy
This foot spa has qualities that are sorely missing in other products. First of all it has adequate room for people with large feet and it has a built-in heater that is powerful enough to raise the temperature of water on its own and maintain it while in use.

This model is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a quick home remedy for tired legs and feet or for individuals who need to stimulate blood circulation and have chronically cold feet. Just a simple foot massage in the comfort of your home will easily release the tension from tired legs and soothe your aching feet.
- Reviews Landmark
The basin of this foot spa is very spacious with plenty of room to wiggle your feet around. It’s nice to be able to have a little moving room, and also have the comfort ability to accommodate bigger sized feet.

What experts didn't like
Foot rollers are manual. A few owners complained the water became too hot.
- BestReviews
On/off button fails after sometimes.
- Top 10 Rec
There is no digital readout unfortunately, and there’s also no precise control either.
- 10 Machines
Its size makes it heavy and less portable
- Body Gearable
The on/off secure can without much of a stretch relax and would in the end breakdown.
- Best Health N Care
The rollers aren’t automatic, and you have to move feet yourself over them.
- Feet Remedies
There is no digital equipment installed to read out and that’s really disappointing.
- Easy Home

Unfortunately, you can’t use it with bath salts or oils as the air holes may clog and the performance of the unit may be affected.

Despite being a good machine overall, the Brookstone does have a few downsides. First off, the massage rollers do not really add that much to the experience.
- Feet Feat
September 25, 2017 | Full review
The unit is bigger and bulkier than most.
- Massage Gear Guru
Addition of liquid soaps and gel is not allowed as this can clog the jets. It only uses clean water.
- Relax Those Feet
Its size also has a downside as the device is a bit heavier and more difficult to carry.
- The Calm Panda
The water plug for the draining messes up from time to time, very annoying.
- Cushy Spa
Does not have bath salt.
- Massager Land
The only problem some customers have with this foot bath is that bath oils or salts cannot be used; otherwise, the jets get clogged and ruined.
- Healing Foot Spa
July 26, 2019 | Full review
One of the main complaints about this machine has been about inability to add any bath salts, oils or herbs
- Go Home Relax
The only drawback for this product is that the use of salts, soaps, and creams are recommended against by the manufacturers so the clogging of the jets can be avoided.
- Bamboo County
Do not use with bath salts, Epsom salts, vinegar, or oils—they will clog the workings of the machine.
- Massage Chairs Expert
January 14, 2019 | Full review
It It does not work with bath salts.
- Relaxish
The water heated quickly, and (impressively) reached just shy of 50°C (around 120°F). Maintaining this temperature was a doddle; if you like your foot spa hot (or at least the option to have it hot!) you’ll be very impressed with this.
- Blissful Relaxation
For me, the Aqua-Jet Foot Spa and Foot Bath is slightly expensive at $99.99.
- Foot Therapy

An Overview On Foot Spas

A foot spa might seem like a luxurious indulgence, but it can actually be a thoughtful, health-improving gift for yourself or someone you care about. Foot spas allow you to soak, heat and massage your feet, which offers numerous benefits to not only the health of your tootsies but also your overall physical and emotional wellbeing.

Kristin Forte/Simplemost Media

Most foot spas provide some form of massage and reflexology, which is the application of pressure to specific points on the feet (or hands). In theory, reflexology used on these points corresponds with certain organs and systems within the body, delivering relaxation and healing to those places.

Kristin Forte/Simplemost Media

Massaging your feet in a foot spa that targets those reflex points could help reduce pain in other areas, such as a pounding migraine or lower backache. It could uplift your mood, helping to ward off mild depression. And of course, it feels amazing to boot.

Kristin Forte/Simplemost Media

Soaking and massaging your feet is especially important if you have a largely sedentary lifestyle, as it improves blood flow. If you are on your feet all day, a warm, bubble foot soak is an amazing way to relax and rejuvenate tired, aching, swollen feet and ankles.

Resting your feet in a heated spa shortly before bedtime could help you fall asleep more quickly and enjoy an improved night’s rest.

Kristin Forte/Simplemost Media

Many foot spas also offer infrared technology, which is another health-boosting feature. Infrared therapy is used in many applications and provides numerous health benefits, such as the following:

  • Infrared light increases the body’s production of nitric oxide, which is essential to improving blood circulation. In turn, this promotes improved cardiovascular health as well as reduced pain and decreased inflammation.
  • Infrared therapy fosters the growth and repair of tissue and muscle cells as it augments the action of the mitochondria.
  • It can aid in the reduction of muscle tension, the promotion of relaxation and the regulation of blood pressure.
Kristin Forte/Simplemost Media

Since foot spas are a safe, natural, non-invasive, painless treatment, there are no negative side effects to worry about, either.

DWYM Fun Fact

An ancient treatise titled The Huangdi Neijing or The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Medicine was believed to have been written in approximately 2600 BC by the legendary Chinese emperor Huang Ti. The writing includes an entire chapter called “Examining Foot Method,” which is perhaps the earliest printed discussion related to reflexology.

During the Han Dynasty (206 BC to 220 AD), this practice was systemized. Chinese physician Hua Tuo used the phrase “Tao of the Foot Center” in his text, Hua Tuo Mi Ji.

The practice of reflexology continued to flourish during the Tang Dynasty (618 to 907 AD). During this time, the practice also became popular in Japan.

It is also believed that famed merchant, explorer and writer Marco Polo translated a Chinese massage book into Italian in the 1300s, introducing reflexology to Europe.

The Foot Spa Buying Guide

  • Be sure to choose a foot spa that is easy to clean and maintain. You should empty and dry the tub after every use, as leaving water or moisture in the spa could lead to mold, bacteria or other hazardous issues. Cleaning the spa with mild soap such as dish soap and warm water after each use is advised. You might wish to follow up with disinfectant as well, particularly if you share the foot spa with family members.
  • Consider where you will store and use your foot spa. Make sure that it is portable, especially if you plan to fill it in one room and carry or roll it to another. The size should be roomy enough for you to spread out your toes and relax, but not so massive that it is difficult for you to fill, move or put away when you’re finished.
  • A heating option might seem like an added luxury, but don’t skimp on this feature. Even if you pour nice, warm water into the foot spa, it could become uncomfortably tepid while you soak your feet. You will come to appreciate a foot spa that heats and maintains a balmy temperature throughout your treatment.
  • Some spas include a bubbling feature. The oxygenated water not only provides even more soothing enjoyment, but the bubbles can also help improve your body’s circulation and might even boost your metabolism.
  • Nubby rollers or raised, textured areas in a foot spa can make for an amazing DIY foot massage experience. However, if your tootsies are particularly ticklish or sensitive, it might prove to be too much. If you’re not sure, consider a foot spa that has removable massage attachments just in case.
  • Consider foot spas with other optional attachments if they would be useful to you. For instance, the Ivation Foot Spa Massager includes four accessories, such as a pumice stone and a brush attachment. If you are a fan of at-home pedicure treatments, these extras could make this the ideal choice for you.
  • After enjoying a calming evening soak, pat your feet dry (don’t forget to dry between your toes!) and follow up with lotion. Slip into a pair of soft socks and go to bed to enjoy softer feet in the morning.
