Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Comfortable fit with swiveling ear cups. 20 hours of use in Bluetooth mode. Integrates with Google Assistant.
The noise cancelling is as good as it gets, and the headphones have a natural and satisfying sound. They’re comfortable to wear and they pack into an ultra-slim travel case. They can connect to any smartphone or tablet through Bluetooth, or to an in-flight entertainment system with the included cable.
The Bose QC35 II shows why the company is so popular amongst travelers with class-leading noise cancellation and balanced sound. They will sound great to most listeners. The addition of Google Assistant is a nice addition.
You can wear these for hours without feeling like you have to take them off. They’re also super durable and can be bent and twisted in a bunch of ways so if you have to jam them into your bag you can do so with a clear conscience.

What reviewers didn't like

Bluetooth signal may cut out on an airplane. Expensive.
However, this extraordinary noise cancelling introduces an effect we call “eardrum suck”. We don't know if it will bother you.
This means dynamic range is a bit limited and makes for a somewhat dull presentation. Resolution is not great and sound stage is about average.
Like most Bluetooth headphones, the microphone on the QC35 II tends to pick up a lot of background noise and it isn’t all that great at full-band recording.
