A major downside to the Bormioli is its lack of heat resistance. If you plan to use the product for iced tea, you'll need to use cold-brew teabags or brew separately, then cool before pouring into the pitcher. The heavier glass makes it, well, much heavier when full; we weren't comfortable storing the full pitcher in the fridge door compartment or even carrying it one-handed.
