Of all the models we tested, the Bonavita BV382510V had the most precise temperature control, impressively measuring just 1 degree off regardless of the temperature setting. It gives you the freedom to set it in 1-degree increments from 140 °F to 212 °F on an easy-to-read digital display.
Very clear, bright red numbers. It displays the current water temperature within a 1-2˚ accuracy after you set your target water temperature. It also displays a timer when you remove the kettle from the base, which is cool if you want to time your extraction.
This is superb for having warm water in the morning while everyone in your family is getting ready at different times.
The most unique feature on the Bonavita BV382510V is probably the gooseneck spout. This spout is designed for superior pouring, so you have always have total control over serving. If a tea needs the water to be poured over the leaves or bag very slowly, you are able to do so.
The handle has a pistol grip or a slot for the indeex finger which I think makes it easier to control the rate of flow when I pour.

What reviewers didn't like
This model took about two and a half minutes longer to boil than our top pick, and it doesn’t provide a water-level window for you to see when it’s getting low. Unlike our top pick, it lacks a boil setting, so you have to manually enter 212 °F using the plus button.

One of the things that actually can be a bit impractical is the cord which has been called “short”. The other common complain with the Bonavita here is that it is too small – being a 1 liter kettle.
At 1000 watts, this kettle isn’t extremely powerful. There are other kettles out there with 1500 watts, which means the water will boil much faster.
The kettle is quite small and has a capacity of only 1L.
No tone or sound that notifies you that the kettle is done heating. Some models may display an error message and will not work.
