An Overview On Baby BOG
Baby BOGS footwear provides comfortable, reliable protection against the elements and are designed to be worn in the rain and snow. BOGS have roomy toe boxes, a wide forefront, supportive arches and narrower heels than some other brands. They are made with materials that naturally keep feet warm and dry, like plush fleece. BOGS also uses Neo-Tech technology, which is a flexible, 100 percent waterproof synthetic rubber that has great insulating properties.
The soles and upper parts of these shoes are also nice and flexible, so they feel better than other kinds of shoes and boots. Baby BOGS also feature Max-Wick sweat-wicking, stretchy inner booties, DuraFresh bio-technology to fight foot odors and self-cleaning outsoles. These boots even have built-in handles that make it much easier for little ones to pull them on and off. And if you lean towards the green side, BOGS have special BLOOM algae-based EVA footbeds that help clean polluted water habitats.
When shopping for baby BOGS, make sure you read the product descriptions to see what temperatures they are rated for. For example, their kids Classic Painterly insulated rain boots are rated down to -30 degrees Fahrenheit; the Neo-Classic Yulex kids winter boots are rated down to -35 degrees Fahrenheit. Hopefully your family won’t have to face these freezing temperatures, but it’s good to know that everyone is covered just in case!
Some of these products are washable, but be sure to check first. According to their website, the Baby BOGS Baby Elliott, Kids Kicker Strap, Kicker Kicker Slip-on and Baby & Kids BMOC are all machine-washable.
The Baby BOG Buying Guide
- Baby BOGS have durable, flexible soles so they are perfect for toddlers and new walkers.
- If your Baby BOGS are washable, wash them in cold water on the gentle cycle with half the amount of mild detergent that you normally use. Do not put them in the dryer! Stuff them with newspaper or cloth instead and let them dry outside in the sun. To clean other styles, you can simply hose them off and air dry.
- BOGS footwear is PVC free, although some styles have latex added for comfort.
