I was extremely impressed with the Babycakes Cake Pop Maker. This sweet little machine won me over in less time than it would have taken me to bake a cake (much less the time spent letting it cool, mixing it with frosting and forming into pops).
I unpacked my Cake Pop Maker and found a great package inside! In the box came the cute purple cake pop maker, an easy to understand instruction booklet, pop sticks, a cake pop cooling stand and a non-scratch fork to help get the cake pops out of the maker! I LOVE my new Cake Pop Maker?!? It is my new favorite kitchen gadget! I love love love it!
Let me tell you, this little purple cake ball maker / cake pop maker is a dream. overall, it’s very easy to use, easy to clean (just wipe with a moist towel), and small enough for storage but big enough to make a dozen cake balls at a time. Your kids (small, big and four-legged) will love having this little gem around, and you’ll love how fast you can whip out a dozen “cake balls.”
Easy to clean – Although I can only wipe it clean, it was easy due to the non-stick. If batter starts sticking, it has suggestions in the instruction booklet on applying a bit of oil. Heats up fast. Bakes fast (4-6 minutes per batch). Small and easy to store in the cupboard. Nice place underneath to wrap the cord up! Comes with recipes.

What reviewers didn't like

Some customers have noted that the pop maker is hard to use and that the cake pops are not completely round. Some also note that the treats are too small and that the hinges broke quickly. Gets hot according to some users
Warning: The handles do get a little hot so I wouldn’t recommend having little ones help with the cake balls.
Hard to open with an oven mitt on (it's HOT so you don't want to touch it with bare hands). Short cord. It's hard to measure to prevent overflow (might just be me!)
