What experts liked

The size and abilities of this printer makes this a very good buy for the money. I can see this becoming my go to printer of my four.
- Oh So Savvy Mom
Capable of printing objects up to a size of 300 x 300 x 400mm, and it’s very quiet in operation (buyer reviews seem to agree on this), plus it comes with some nifty touches such as a touchscreen control panel (which is great to see at this price level). This is also a novice-friendly 3D printer which is very easy to setup, by all accounts (95% of the device is preassembled).
- Tech Radar
Great 3D printer with solid build frame. Easy to assembly even for a beginner. Great touch screen. Large print surface and very low noice level from the printer. Comes with Titan direct drive with volcano that make your print faster and looking great.
- 3D Print Review
The Sidewinder X1 is quiet, and I averaged around 45.3db. You could say this is equivalent to a quiet library. So, you can have this printing right next to you and barely notice it.
- Inov 3D
Rings up at less than $500, which is a steal in this sector. But don’t let that fool you. It still has an impressive list of features.

What experts didn't like

I have had this printer for less than a week and it has already broken down more than 10 times. It it extremely poorly made with cheap parts. Loose screws on the extruder caused failed prints, and the customer service is a JOKE!
- Oh So Savvy Mom
Have to disconect display to update firmware.
- 3D Print Review
My only concern is that the glass bed is not easily removable and you run the risk of damaging the heat pad.
- Inov 3D
Unfortunately, there are no bed leveling sensors, so it’s a manual process.
