Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

This set comes with 4 shooting modes, 4 team colors, invisible mode, and built-in flashlight, making it highly adaptable to a wide variety of games.
One thing that I like about Armogear is that they use vests. In more recent years, laser tag sets have gone against this idea, instead using the gun as a target itself. The sets that use vests also tend to be more accurate, as sets that don’t use vests will often not have the same accuracy – it’s hard to maintain the accuracy when the target is the gun!
The blasters have a long shooting range of up to 150 feet, making easy to fire at your opponents from a distance, whether indoors or outdoors.
You can team up with your friend and family since this laser equipment can accommodate up to 4 players at a time.
These blasters have a lot of features. For starters, the player can switch between gun modes. There’s also a sneak-attack feature, which is great fun for carrying out a stealthy ambush.
What’s great is that the sound effects include a voice-over, and that voice will tell you which weapon mode you’re using, how much ammunition you have left, and much more.

What reviewers didn't like

Each of the 8 devices requires 3 AAA batteries.
If you’re after a cheap laser tag set, then this isn’t the right option for you. It’ll set you back a little bit more than most other sets, but it is of a higher overall quality.
Batteries not included. Can be loud.
A few users complained that when firing close to the target, you get a hit no matter your aim. Some even stated that players could hit the target even while shooting standing back-to-back.
