What experts liked

Can charge quickly and hold a charge for hours
Apple’s AirPods pair extremely easily to Apple devices (they’ll automatically pair to phones, tablets, and computers where you’re signed in with your Apple ID) and let you swap between those devices automatically
The AirPods themselves will then happily automatically pair each and every time you put them into your ears, and will automatically disconnect when you take both out.
You can now control playback of your music with a double tap.

For instance, if you’re listening to music and remove one AirPod, the music will pause until the removed AirPod is re-inserted, at which point the music or podcast picks right back up where it left off.
For all their faults, Apple’s candy-cane headphones are so easy to pair, and so comfortable to wear for hours at a time, that I can overlook the many faults.

For one, AirPods actually sound great, even better than EarPods.

What experts didn't like

Won't work with some older iPhones.
However, they lack the physical music and volume controls you might be accustomed to in wired earbuds, relying instead on Apple-specific features, such as Siri and custom tap controls.
We’ve grown to love having an in-line remote with our headphones, and having to constantly pull out our phone to skip to the next track feels like a step backwards.
Expensive replacement parts.
The oddest thing about the AirPods isn't how they look; it's that Apple's evidently not all that concerned with how they sound.
- Wired
I cannot get them to stay in my ears for long periods of time.
