Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

It has a spa system which provides revitalizing massage. This features a Whirlpool massage system and in-line heater to moderate the water’s heat. It also offers the newest in safety and warranty on its components and features.
This walk-in bathtub includes water jets, and it’s an easy design to use. It has a quick fill and drain time, too. A heater keeps the tub comfortable.
As far as safety goes, it’s as good as any model on the market—the extra wide seat, ADA compliant grip bar, low-entry door, and non-slip surface leave little room for anything to go wrong. We especially loved the easy-touch button control (perfect for seniors with little knowledge of technology) and 10-year warranty on the shell. It really gave us peace of mind.
It features a leg-only massage system for treating all body infections. With its in-line water heater, the user can have both warm and cold bath. Moreover, it comes with a slip-resistant surface that helps to avoid injury or accident. It is made from a fiberglass material which makes it more robust and durable. It has a 10-year limited warranty on the tub and 5-year warranty on the tub component.
This walk-in tub has a chrome drain that quickly and efficiently pumps out water in under two minutes so that you don’t have to wait long for all water to be drained so you can safely exit the tub. There is also a grab bar and the floor is textured to increase its anti-slip effectiveness. The door to the tub is contoured, durable, and easy to grip so that you can fully transfer yourself over the low threshold safely. The tub has been tested for weights of up to 1,000 lbs so you bathe easy knowing it is going to be able to handle your weight and hold up over time.

What reviewers didn't like

The seat in the tub is not heated.
It doesn’t have as many jets as other American Standard walk-in bathtubs.
The only thing keeping it from the top spot is the lack of comfort features. There are only 6 hydrotherapy jets.
This is expensive walk in bathtub.
One downside is that you will need two separate circuits when hooking up the tub, one for the pump and drain and another for the heater. It can also take a while to install and is definitely not something that can be done quickly in a weekend, even with professional installation.
