What reviewers liked
The Bounce technology in the midsole delivers court feel without compromising impact absorption, say many users.
This is comparable to the Adidas Pro Bounce 2018, but the Pro Bounce exceeds in responsiveness. The ‘bounce’ of the shoe increases your energy return as you move up and down the court.
The reason being that it gives you more lockdown and stability than shoes without this feature. This means you won’t have to worry about slipping or anything like it while out on the court. Up top, the shoes uses mesh and synthetics together to make the upper breathable and light at the same time.
The good shock and impact absorption protect the joints, muscles, tissues and other sections from injury, fatigue, and soreness and more. Cleaning and taking care of this shoe is easy.
The cable lacing system comes with webbing eyelets for easy take on. The Geo-fit construction is responsible for anatomical fit and comfort. It is definitely one of the best outdoor basketball shoes.
Support was very good, even with the cheaper mesh build. Its lockdown and overall fit works well and keeps you on the footbed of the shoe.
Bounce has conquered almost the whole adidas basketball market by now. Leaving only the Harden signature line’s flagship model rocking BOOST tooling.
What reviewers didn't like
A handful of Adidas Pro Bounce 2018 users observe that the shoe does not provide enough ankle support. They find the extended collar flimsy.
One worry about them is that the Bounce doesn’t have as much give as it would suggest. Another is that the price is a little higher than the others featured so far, so that could be downside to them.
The lacing system is comprised of Flywire-like cables, something I don’t like, but they worked well once you adjust everything to your liking.
