Ahead of this summer’s Olympics, streaming platform Peacock is raising its prices as it prepares to stream the Summer Olympics. No need to worry, though — we’ve discovered an excellent deal for select subscribers.

New Peacock customers will see the price difference on July 18, just before the Olympics start. NBC News, which shares the parent company Comcast with Peacock, said the prices will increase by $2. That will make the streaming service’s basic subscription $7.99 a month and its ad-free option $13.99 a month.

While you can stream some shows and movies on Peacock for free, you won’t be able to catch all of the Olympic Games without upgrading to Peacock Premium. The good news, we found deals as low as $1.99/month if you are a student, teacher, first responder, or military personnel.

These deals are for the ad-supported version of Peacock Premium. This will include 5,000 hours of live Olympics coverage throughout the Games, including all 329 medal events. And of course, you’ll have access to over 80,000 hours of TV shows and movies, live sports and events, current NBC and Bravo shows (available the next day), and more than 50 24/7 channels.

Discount Subscription Prices and Terms

For all offers, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Eligible first responders, teachers, and military personnel who continue to meet verification qualifications may renew the offer annually.
