National Coffee Day: Where To Find The Best Freebies On This Glorious Day

Wake up and smell the free (or cheap) coffee beans roasting!

National Coffee Day is the day we all rejoice, the day we wake up knowing that our usual $3 cup of coffee is now free.

Since that day (Thursday, September 29) is fast approaching, below are restaurants and chains that are participating in this glorious day, along with their deals:

Krispy Kreme: If you like Krispy Kreme doughnuts, stop by on September 29, where not only will your small coffee be free, but your Original Glazed doughnut will also be free.

Cumberland Farms: Text the word FREECOFFEE to 64827, and you’ll be sent a mobile coupon for a free cup of hot or iced coffee, any size. What’s better is that every other Friday in October—starting October 7—you can participate in Free Coffee Fridays.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Dunkin’ Donuts has been around for 66 years. To commemorate their anniversary, Dunkin’ will offer their medium-sized coffee for $0.66 on National Coffee Day.

Pilot Flying J: On the Pilot Flying J’s Facebook page, there is an online coupon you can download for a free small cup of coffee, tea or cappuccino, which can be used all day and night on September 29.

Peet’s Coffee: After buying any fresh food item, you’ll receive a free medium-sized drip coffee on Sept. 29.

Keurig.com: If you are a person who loves snapping those K-Cups into your Keurig, you can receive discounts from ordering online. From Sept. 29 – Oct. 2, you get 20% off Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup pods and 15% off other beverages when you use the code GREENSAVINGS at checkout.

LaMar’s: If you buy one of their coffee mugs for $1.19 (usually around $9), LaMar’s will fill your mug for free all day on Sept. 29.

Caribou Coffee: For every cup of Amy’s Blend Coffee you buy, Caribou Coffee will donate a free cup of coffee to caregivers at hospitals and health facilities across the country to remember Caribou Coffee’s original Roastmaster, Amy Erickson, who passed away from cancer in 1995. Also, if you buy a one-pound bag of Amy’s Blend Coffee, you’ll receive a free medium-sized coffee.

Starbucks: While Starbucks isn’t offering any customer freebies on National Coffee Day, participating stores at the coffee giant will be giving away free coffee trees to farmers in need for each cup of Mexico Chiapas coffee sold.
