The only thing better than National Coffee Day, you ask? Why, it’s National Coffee Weekend, and that’s precisely what Krispy Kreme is bringing you. They’re celebrating the most beloved beverage with three days of chances to get free coffee.
From Sept. 29-Oct. 1 you can score free premium coffees at participating Krispy Kreme shop locations. Guests are limited to one free coffee per day, but hey—that still equals three coffees, for free. And in any morning math equation—more free coffee is always greater than less free coffee.
You can order any sized hot coffee as long as it’s their smooth or rich blend and get it completely free of charge. If iced coffee’s more your thing pre-November, then you’ll also be pleased to know that you can get a small iced coffee with any added flavor (the options range from vanilla to caramel) for no added cost, as well.
This should surely bring some joy to your morning commute on Friday, and since it lasts through the weekend, it’ll brighten your afternoon on the other days! Because nothing’s better than sleeping in and still getting to take advantage of a free coffee drink. Oh, and don’t forget to pair your coffee with a doughnut while you’re at it. They do make the perfect combo, after all!
This is the first time Krispy Kreme’s stretched their National Coffee Day deal to take place over a weekend, but it’s coming at the perfect time.
“For the first time, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is giving National Coffee Day a new name–National Coffee Weekend,” Jackie Woodward, chief marketing officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, said in a press release. “That means more opportunities, more choices and more fun. With three days to try our doughnut-worthy coffee for free, guests can enjoy hot brewed, iced or both!”

You’re likely going to see a ton of deals on National Coffee Day, so try and keep up! If you can swing it, you may not pay for a single coffee for yourself all day long. Now, that’s the spirit of the holiday!
Dunkin’ Donuts is offering a free medium-sized hot coffee with a purchase of a medium, large or extra large coffee on Sept. 29. So, you can swing by and get one for you and a friend!
