Here’s a deal you should know about if you love JCPenney.
When you buy $100 worth of e-gift cards, JCPenney will send you a coupon good for $25 off a $25 purchase.
Though the deal says it’s good for e-gift cards, it also says this deal applies to gift cards purchased in store.
You must purchase the gift cards between now and Christmas to receive the coupon.
The coupon can be used anytime between Dec. 26 and Jan. 31, 2018. The coupon is good both in stores and online on apparel, shoes, accessories, fine jewelry and home items!
You can also score free shipping at JCPenney through Dec. 20 on orders over $49—no promo code necessary.
JCPenney Launching Subscription Service
In other exciting news, JCPenney recently announced that it’s starting a subscription clothing service for big and tall men!
The new offering is a partnership with the company Bombfell, a men’s subscription clothing box service.
The new subscription box from JCPenney and Bombfell will work like other similar programs.
Customers will visit the subscription box service’s website (Bombfell.com) and answer a series of questions about their style and preferences.
The system will then use those answers to select five of JCPenney’s items that match the responses and ship them to the customer.
Once the customer receives the package, he has seven days to try on the items. Any clothes or accessories the customer decides to keep, he pays for. Anything else is shipped back to the company. Returns cannot be made at the stores, though.
Shipping is free for this service (including returns).
How much will this cost? The prices should range between $15 and $120 per item, with a $20 styling fee per box that can be applied to the purchase of any item the customer decides to keep.
The big and tall market is one of JCPenney’s strongest departments, and the retailer hopes this new service will provide savings and convenience for those niche customers.
“Since we know our Big & Tall customer has a strong appetite to shop online for their favorite merchandise in the sizes that fit just right— and with special sizes being one of several long-term growth initiatives outlined by the company—we’ve partnered with Bombfell as an all-new way of connecting with this customer,”spokesman Joey Thomas told Retail Dive.
