Calling all pizza lovers! In case you somehow missed the glorious news, Pizza Hut’s P’ZONE Calzone returned to menus last month after a 10-year hiatus. It was all thanks to March Madness and the other comebacks we’re bound to see on the court.
But although it’s been a decade since we last got a taste of the P’ZONE, it’s actually been a whopping 17 years since it debuted in 2002. In honor of March Madness and the creation of the P’ZONE creation all those years ago, Pizza Hut will be giving away free pepperoni P’ZONEs on April 17!
Before you get too excited, though, there’s a catch.
In order to score a free P’ZONE, a team must overcome a 17-point deficit to win during the Final Four or Championship games in this year’s NCAA March Madness Division I men’s basketball tournament. If that happens, you get a free P’ZONE!
To be eligible to win, you must be a new or existing member of Hut Rewards and opt-in to participate in the promotion in your Hut Rewards account before the tip-off of the first Final Four game. If the pepperoni P’ZONEs end up being given away, you can redeem it online on April 17, 2019.
“We loved the enthusiasm and passion our fans displayed when we announced the return of the P’ZONE®,” Marianne Radley, chief brand officer, Pizza Hut said in a press release. “We wanted to find a way to bring the excitement of what’s happening on the court to fans at home, and there’s no better way to reward our P’ZONE® lovers than with the potential to win a free one during the pinnacle of March Madness!”
If you’ve never had a P’ZONE, you’re in for a treat! Sealed inside a toasted parmesan pizza crust, the creation is filled with pizza toppings and melted cheese, baked calzone style and served with marinara dipping sauce. While the free P’ZONE only applies to pepperoni, you can get them in pepperoni, meaty or supremo.
Will you be signing up for Hut Rewards in hopes of getting your free P’ZONE?
