More than 165K inclined sleepers are being recalled from Graco, Evenflo and other brands

If you’ve purchased an inclined sleeper for your baby anytime between 2013 and just this month, listen up.

More than 165,000 inclined sleepers are being recalled from multiple brands, including Graco, Evenflo, Summer Infant and Delta Enterprise. The recalls are due to the risk of suffocation.

According to the recalls from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), no injuries or incidents have been reported for the recalled models, but infant fatalities have been reported with other manufacturers’ inclined sleep products after infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side, or under other circumstances.

The following inclined sleepers are included in the recall:

Graco Little Lounger Rocking Seat

Around 111,000 units of the Graco Little Lounger Rocking Seat are being recalled in the United States. They were sold at Target, Babies R Us and other stores nationwide from 2013 through 2018 for about $80.

Most models (model numbers 1872034, 1875063, 1875102, 1877160, 1882081, 1896313, 1908957, 1914283 and 2047734) have multiple inclined positions and one model (model number 1922809) has one inclined position. The model number is located on a label on one of the metal legs.

Summer Infant SwaddleMe By Your Bed Sleeper

Around 46,300 Summer Infant SwaddleMe By Your Bed Sleepers are included in the recall. They were sold at infant product stores and mass merchandisers nationwide including Amazon and Buy Buy Baby from March 2017 through December 2019 for about $99. The CPSC recently issued a warning against using this product, but now the sleeper is officially recalled.

The model number for this recall is 91394. It is located on the crossbar tube of the frame between the two upright tubes.

Evenflo Pillo Portable Napper

Around 3,100 units of the Evenflo Pillo Portable Napper are being recalled. They were sold at infant product stores and mass merchandisers nationwide and online, including Target, Kohl’s, Amazon, Buy Buy Baby, JCPenney and Walmart from May 2017 through January 2020 for about $75.

The model number for the recalled product is 12132125 and you can find the model number on a label on the leg of the product.

Delta Children’s Incline Sleeper

The recall involving the Delta Children’s Incline Sleeper with Adjustable Feeding Position for Newborns includes 5,900 units. They were sold at infant product stores and mass merchandisers nationwide including Amazon, Kmart and ToysRUs.com from January 2017 through December 2018 for between $42 and $51.

The recall includes multiple branded versions such as Beautyrest Beginnings Incline Sleeper with Adjustable Feeding Position for Newborns; Disney Baby Minnie Mouse Incline Sleeper with Adjustable Feeding Position for Newborns and more. Model numbers are 27404-2255, 27404-437, 27404-758 and 27404-942. The model number is located on the label and frame.

If you purchased one of the recalled inclined sleepers, you should immediately stop using it and contact the company for a refund or voucher.
