What’s the next best thing to celebrating your own birthday? Celebrating the birthday of a company that’s giving out some free goodies, of course.

Krispy Kreme is turning 83 years old this year, and they’re handing out free treats to celebrate more than eight decades of making delicious doughnuts.

On July 17, anyone who buys a dozen doughnuts of any kind will receive a free original glazed dozen. The deal is good at participating locations on July 17 only. You can buy any 12 doughnuts to qualify for the free glazed dozen.

To make sure you’re staying safe while helping Krispy Kreme celebrate their birthday, doughnuts are available via takeout in the lobby, through the drive‑thru or by ordering online or through the Krispy Kreme app for pick-up.

While Krispy Kreme delivers doughnuts within 10 miles of their shops, the birthday deal is not available for delivery, so keep in mind you will need to go to your local Krispy Kreme if you want a free dozen.

Krispy Kreme

Not sure what doughnuts to get in order to get your free dozen? There are tons to choose from, so you can literally get 12 different doughnuts to try a variety.

Choose from classics like chocolate iced with sprinkles and chocolate with Kreme filling, or go all out if you really want something sweet and grab an Oreo cookies-and-creme or cake-batter doughnut.

If you don’t have a Krispy Kreme near you, their doughnuts can be found in a variety of grocery stores nationwide and now, for the first time, also in bite-size form.

Their doughnut bites and mini crullers are individually packaged in a variety of flavors annually, like chocolate and blueberry, but will also be offered in seasonal, limited-time flavors. If you don’t already have them in your kitchen pantry, you can order them through Walmart’s online grocery for delivery or pick-up.

Will you be heading to Krispy Kreme for a BOGO dozen of fried deliciousness?
