Michaels is the place for kids and parents to be this week. All week, through March 16, the art and craft supplier is offering a classes for children ages 3 and up for free.
All you have to do is sign up for the classes online or simply show up to a participating Michaels location to take part in the Family Make Week fun. Plus, according to the Michaels website, the first 100 guests at each store will get a coupon for $5 off of a purchase totaling at least $5 before tax. So, there’s something in it for parents and kids alike.
The classes will teach your kids to make everything from binary code necklaces to St. Patrick’s Day-themed slime to a watercolor painting. Michaels is offering different classes throughout the week, so there are plenty of opportunities for creativity and learning.
Each class is free, including the cost of supplies. So, all you have to do is pick a day and time slot that works best for you and your little one to attend and show up ready to participate. Most of the events take place from 4-6 p.m., making them the perfect after-school activity. A parent or guardian must remain on-site during the event, so come prepared to stay and participate or shop while your child gets crafty.
