Entenmann’s is giving free doughnuts and cash to healthcare workers

While it may feel impossible to show enough appreciation for our healthcare workers right now, Entenmann’s is launching a sweepstakes that aims to celebrate these heroes on the front lines of the pandemic with money and, of course, free doughnuts.

Now through June 18, you can nominate a healthcare worker for the Standing Doughnation Sweepstakes. Winners will receive a $500 cash prize, a $500 donation to their respective hospital or care facility and $70 worth of doughnuts. Entenmann’s will pick one winner each day.

Nominations can be submitted via posts on Instagram or Twitter, using the hashtags #StandingDoughnation and #Promotion and by following and tagging @Entenmanns. You’ll need to make sure your profile is public so Entenmann’s can see the post, but the content of the entry will not be judged and will therefore not increase or decrease a nominee’s chances of winning.

There is a limit of one entry per nominator per day and per platform. You may only use one account for each social media channel to enter. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received throughout each entry period.

Nominees must be currently employed at a hospital or healthcare facility as an essential healthcare professional. Winners will be drawn every evening through June 18. See more details in the Instagram post about the promotion from Entenmann’s below.

While the cash will be in the form of a check to the nominee and a donation to their healthcare facility, the free doughnuts will be awarded via coupons for Entenmann’s products, which are sold in grocery stores nationwide.

The bakery’s doughnuts come in more than a dozen flavors, including chocolate, cinnamon, powdered sugar and glazed.

If you know a healthcare worker who has been on the front line of the COVID-19 crisis and who also happens to love doughnuts, be sure to nominate them before the deadline!
