This Company is Filling Work-From-Home Jobs In 40 States (And Benefits Are Included)

Looking for a new job? How about one with full benefits you can do right at home? If so, a job posting at customer support provider Sykes might be just the thing for you.

The company is looking for customer service representatives in 40 states and bilingual representatives (those who can speak English and Spanish) in 39 states.

Sykes is a company that provides customer support for other companies, so you’ll be working for one of their clients — anything from retail to travel and even healthcare.

The jobs are full time AND fully remote, so you can work from your couch in your PJs.


First things first — make sure you live in one of the states where they’re hiring. While you can work from home, you do have to live in the state listed on the job posting.

You must live in: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming.

Secondly, while customer service experience is not required, it is preferred, along with experience with financial services, healthcare, technology companies or something similar.

You must also be able to speak on the phone and use a computer, be empathetic and friendly with the people on the phone, use logic and solve problems and work well as a team.


You will need a personal, Windows-based computer, internet access, two different headsets and a landline.

Pay And Benefits

Sykes says pay rates are based on the experience and skill sets needed for each client and their programs, but the average rate for the customer service position is about $9 an hour.
