10 Things That Will Be Cheaper In 2017

With the start of each new year, we expect an inevitable rise in prices. And, in fact, experts expect a hike on everything from rent to food to Chicago Cubs’ baseball tickets this coming year. But as most prices are rising, there are a few things that will actually be cheaper in 2017.

Check out this list, and get excited. We can all eat guacamole again!

2. Avocados

As insane as it seems, guacamole has become a luxury item. Due to grower strikes and short supply, folks are paying nearly $3 for a single avocado. But there is good news on the horizon. The Avocado Producers and Exporting Packers Association of Mexico (APEAM) says prices are finally set to drop in 2017.

3. Smart Watches

With Apple expected to release the Apple Watch Series 3 in 2017, it is believed the Series 2 watch will see a pretty significant price drop next year. Some analysts expect other manufacturers to lower prices, too, in an effort to increase demand of a category that has seen less favorable sales in recent months.

4. Electric Vehicles

The Chevrolet Bolt EV was named the 2017 Car of the Year, and rightfully so.  This special car will travel up to 238 miles on a single charge, and costs only $29,995 after a federal tax rebate.
