Great news, sports fans. Amazon will let you stream Thursday night NFL games this fall if you’re a Prime member.

Will this be the push you need to finally cut the cord with cable? You’re already streaming most of your favorite shows on Netflix and Hulu, but live sports were always a little trickier.

It seems Amazon is taking the first step toward making it super easy to stream live games—without a pricey cable plan. The online retailer has also been in talks with the NBA and MLB about streaming live games in the future.

Of course, Thursday night NFL games will continue to be available on CBS and NBC this season, if you’d rather watch on television.

“We’re focused on bringing our customers what they want to watch, Prime members want the NFL,” Jeff Blackburn, Amazon senior vice president, told the Wall Street Journal.

The one-year deal between Amazon and the NFL reportedly cost $50 million. Amazon beat out Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to offer Prime members the Thursday night games this season.

If you’re already a Prime member, you know how great the $99 a year membership is. Not only do you get free two-day shipping, but you also get access to movies and TV shows. Here are eight other Amazon Prime membership perks you should be taking advantage of today.
