Have you ever taken a math quiz and earned a free lunch if you passed it? Burger King is giving math a makeover by giving out a free Whopper sandwich to any customer who passes a one-question math quiz on its smartphone app. And you don’t even need to study to pass the quiz!

To score your free Whopper, you first have to download the restaurant’s app either through Apple’s App Store or on Google Play for Android. Then, if you don’t already have a Burger King account, you’ll need to register to get full access to the app and offers. From there, it’s simple.

You will open the Burger King app and scroll down on the Home page until you find the trending section, where the quiz for the Student Offer is waiting for you.

But this quiz is unlike any you had to take in school. You can have as much help as you want, so, you don’t have to worry about cheating. The Day 3 quiz, posted on BK’s Twitter account, required a little bit of online research to get the job done:

So, Google away without guilt!

Once you pass the quiz, you will get an offer code downloaded to your account to redeem your free Whopper. But the free sandwich offer is only good through 11:59 p.m. EDT on April 21. Each customer can only redeem one coupon, and Burger King is running this promotion through April 20 or until 150,000 coupons are distributed. (Also, though it’s called a “student offer,” there’s nothing in the fine print of the deal that suggests you’ll have to show a student I.D. to get the free Whopper.)

These coupons can be redeemed at Burger King drive-thrus or via their delivery service, which the company is offering for free on orders of $10 or more.

Plus, Burger King is donating a quarter of a million Whoppers for nurses around the country to help feed the front line workers during the coronavirus outbreak. No math test required!
