Many are OK to use in your refrigerator and freezer, too. Be careful, though, because many of them are not dishwasher safe, so you’ll have to hand-wash them.

Be sure to use freezer bags when needed, as well. If you need airtight plastic containers, look for ones that have lids and secure closing mechanisms, but keep in mind, none of these guarantee that mold will not grow.
