Applebee’s is kicking off Fourth of July early with two new patriotic cocktails, which have been added their menu — each for just $5.
The bright red Boom Berry Daiquiri has strawberry and lime flavors blended with Captain Morgan rum. It is served frozen with a lime on the rim.
If you prefer your drinks over ice, the Blue Bahama Mama is a salute to a traditional Bahama Mama with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Malibu Coconut Rum, blue curacao and a blend of passion fruit, pineapple, cherry and lime. It is then topped with lemon-lime soda and garnished with gummy rings.
The drinks are available at participating locations only and you can even get them to go at some restaurants.
If you’re looking for some food to go along with your Star-Spangled Sips, Applebee’s has also added two new salads to their menu.
The Quesadilla Chicken Salad features grilled chicken on a bed of fresh greens tossed with house-made cilantro ranch dressing and black bean corn salsa. It is then topped with tortilla strips, house-made pico de gallo and served with a cheese quesadilla.
The Buffalo Chicken Wedge Salad, on the other hand, is a classic wedge salad taken up a notch with tomatoes, red onions, celery and crispy tender boneless chicken tossed in classic buffalo sauce. It’s finished off with Bleu cheese dressing.
June’s Margarita of the Month is the Sangria ‘Rita, which is swirled with a house-made sangria mix and features Grand Marnier, 14 Hands Merlot and Monin Blackberry Syrup.
