Target Raises Free Shipping Minimum

Despite these lowered shipping prices and discounts, Target actually increased its free shipping minimum from $25 to $35 in early May.

“Target regularly reviews and adjusts our online shipping policies and practices to better serve guests and enhance our business,” the retailer said in a statement, according to CNBC. Target didn’t give any further explanation, but noted that “a small percentage of purchases are less than $35, so the majority of orders will continue to ship for free.”

The retailer had lowered its free shipping minimum from $50 to $25 in February 2015. REDcard holders will still received free shipping on all orders.

Finding Free Shipping Items on Amazon

To find items eligible for free shipping at Amazon, filter your search using the “Free Shipping by Amazon” option in the Refine By section. Your results will only include items eligible for free shipping, provided your order meets the $25 minimum.

Orders with free shipping are delivered five to eight business days after all items in the order are available. You can still get unlimited two-day shipping on eligible items at no charge if you are an Amazon Prime member. No minimum spending amount is required to qualify with Prime.
