Televisions, aka the best inventions, are on discount this time of year because retailers know that we want to get our Superbowl parties on. According to Consumer Reports, televisions are generally discounted by an average of 22 percent before the big game. They advise that shoppers start looking for deals two weeks before the Superbowl, which falls on February 5 this year. So it’s time to start shopping, as prices will likely to start to rise after the game.
