Step2 is looking for toy testers—here’s how to apply

Step2, the maker of play kitchens and more, is offering the chance for your children to test out some of Spring 2018’s latest and greatest toys. It’s simple to apply, and with a deadline of Feb. 8, you’re going to want to submit your application sooner rather than later.

Those selected will be sent a new spring toy to try for free. But wait! There are some stipulations for receiving such a gift.

For instance, those selected will be required to write a review of the toy and post about the toy to their social media accounts. But hey—that’s a small price to pay for some free fun for the kids!

Step2 typically sells products suited for infants all they way up to age seven but the application is asking for children ages one to five. You’ll have somewhat of a say about which toys your kiddos will get to try. You can choose from items that are perfect for backyard playtime—Outdoor Splash Tables and more—or opt for something that gets your child’s creative juices flowing—a 2-in-1 Toy Box & Art lid, for example. Here’s the call they posted to Facebook:

Who Is This The Right Fit For?

If you’re a mommy blogger or just a go-to for mom advice amongst your friends, this is the perfect gig for you and your family. No, it won’t be making you tons of money, but it will give you the chance to host an activity for your kids—without it costing you a dime.

The application puts an emphasis on social media, so if you have a large social media following, that’s likely better for you in the selection process.

This job is basically giving you the chance to become a social media influencer for moms who are interested in purchasing some new spring toys, and that could definitely open the door to other opportunities for you and your kids in the future. Besides, it also just kinda sounds fun!

How To Apply

Visit the Step2 official application to apply and see all rules and details. The deadline is 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Feb. 8. Those selected will be notified via email no later than Feb. 12.

It’s also important to note that if you’re selected to test the toy, you must follow through with the mandatory review and social posts. Otherwise, you’ll be charged for both the toy and the shipping costs.

Interested in free goodies for your children to enjoy? Apply today (no, really) to see if you have what it takes to be a toy tester!
